Sovany was founded in Las Vegas by Marcella Fodor in 2017. She was searching for something refreshing, but not water. Something with flavor, but not soda. When she couldn't find it, she started mixing sparkling water with organic fruit juice herself. We've been part of the journey since day one, helping shape the brand through strategy, identity, packaging design, and creative direction.
Back in 2017, the sparkling water category was well established and growing rapidly. Soda consumption, which had surged from the 1960s through the 1990s, was in steady decline, creating space for a new generation of beverages. In the years since, the category has continued to evolve with the introduction of increasingly sophisticated flavors, drinks infused with everything from antioxidants and magnesium to botanicals, mushrooms, and CBD, as well as products like kombucha and "healthier" sodas.
While the category continues to chase new ingredients and functional benefits, Sovany puts its trust in things that will never go out style, organic fruit, sparkling water, and great taste.
