There’s nothing quite like fresh fish, but finding it in stores can be tricky….or, it used to be tricky.
VAAG is a small (family run) fishery located by the dock in Henningsvær, northern Norway. They work closely with local fishermen and offer wild catch from Lofoten and Vesterålen. The fish is filleted, packed and super frozen at -50 degrees same day it comes out the ocean. This process results in minimal ice crystals and preserves both taste and texture.
Together with VAAG we make sure the customer experience matches the product and work hard to change the general perception that fresh is always better than frozen – because it's not.
The brand is constantly evolving, but the goal stays the same. Whatever time or day, fresh seafood is only minutes away.
