What if eating healthy was also fun?
Smoothie Xchange has been serving smoothies since 2007. Long before bowls were everywhere and drinking spinach was standard. When we started working together in 2018, the healthy food scene had changed quite a bit from 2007. New places were popping up all over the city, most of them clean, minimal and quiet. SX, meanwhile, had a bright green cup, smoothie machines you could hear from across the corner, a loyal following and a nearly ten year legacy.
SX didn’t need to become more like everyone else. They needed to become even more like themselves. So we turned things up rather than toning them down. The old green became a little less synthetic, Smoothie Xchange became SX, and the smoothies themselves gave us a whole new palette to play with.
Smoothie Xchange challenges the notion that «healthy» has to look a certain way and in stead embraces the role of being the fun-loving counterweight.
